Tallon Griekspoor first made noise on Tour in 2021 when he went 42-7 on the ATP Challenger Tour with an 8-0 record in finals – setting a single-season record for most titles. He started 6-0 in 2023, reaching his first ATP Tour final and winning his first title at Pune. He then beat fellow Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp to reach his first Grand Slam third round at the 2023 Australian Open. The 2023 season saw Griekspoor earn a new career-high year-end ranking at No. 23.
