Tallon Griekspoor boasts three ATP titles and a career-high ranking of No. 21. In Indian Wells last year the Dutchman stunned World No. 2 Alexander Zverev 7-6 in the third in a three-hour, second-round epic contest and continued on to the quarterfinals, where he pushed Holger Rune to three sets. Last year Griekspoor was leading Jannik Sinner in the third set in Shanghai when the Italian retired with cramps. Griekspoor has won 30 or more matches in each of the past three seasons. He reached the third round in three of the four Grand Slams in 2024 (Australian Open, Roland Garros, US Open), and was also part of the Netherlands’ Davis Cup team that reached the final for the first time in the country’s history.
