She broke through in 2025, winning two WTA 125 titles before reaching her first tour-level final in Osaka, where she fell to Leylah Fernandez. Since then, she has cracked the Top 50 and made waves at the 2026 Australian Open, defeating Australian No. 1 Maya Joint and reaching the third round of a major for the first time. This will be her first appearance at Indian Wells.
