Tomas Machac cracked the Top 20 in 2025 after a season that returned 23 match wins and an ATP 500 title in Acapulco and a fourth-round showing in Indian Wells. He began 2026 by winning Adelaide, his second ATP title. Machac has four wins over Top 10 opposition, including a victory over Carlos Alcaraz during his career best Masters performance to reach the Shanghai sem-finals in 2024.
