Player Overview

Tommy Paul surged to a career-high No. 8 in June last year after a standout clay-court season that included a semi-final run in Rome (where he took a set from Jannik Sinner) and a quarter-final showing at Roland Garros. Paul broke out in 2023 with an appearance in the Australian Open semifinals, becoming the first American to go that far in Melbourne since Andy Roddick in 2009. He returned to the AO quarterfinals in 2025. Paul won an Olympic medal for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Games, taking the men’s doubles bronze medal alongside Taylor Fritz. He reached the Indian Wells semifinals in 2024.
