Venus Williams is a 7x Grand Slam singles champion, 14x Grand Slam doubles champion, and 2x Grand Slam mixed doubles champion. Williams is a former World No. 1 in both singles and doubles and won all of her major doubles titles partnering with her younger sister Serena. The Williams sisters also partnered to win three gold medals for Team USA at the 2000, 2008, and 2012 Olympic Games. Venus also claimed the gold medal in women’s singles at the 2000 Sydney Games. Williams’ combined total titles of 73 is the most of any active player. The 30-year WTA veteran has reached the semifinals at Indian Wells three times (1998, 2001, 2018).
