Japan’s Yosuke Watanuki had a breakthrough 2023 season which saw him crack the Top 100 for the first time and reach a career high No. 72 ranking. He made his Grand Slam debut at the 2023 Australian Open, where he reached the second round as a qualifier. He also qualified for his first Masters 1000 at the 2023 Miami Open and advanced to the second round at 2023 Wimbledon.
