The youngest Chinese player to win multiple Challenger titles, Yunchaokete Bu is making his Indian Wells debut in 2025. He strung together consecutive ATP semifinals at Hangzhou and Beijing, with the latter of the two including a quarterfinal upset over No. 6 Andrey Rublev. His 2024 performances helped him rise from No. 174 at the beginning of the year to as high as No. 65.
