World No. 10 Marin Cilic and three-time Grand Slam Champion Stan Wawrinka will participate in the first-ever Eisenhower Cup presented by Masimo, a one-night Tie Break Tens event scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 at the 2019 BNP Paribas Open. Tickets for the event are on sale now, but limited quantities remain. Tickets are $25 each with all proceeds benefiting local Coachella Valley non-profits.
Cilic, the 2014 US Open Champion, and Wawrinka – winner of the 2014 Australian Open, 2015 French Open and 2016 US Open – will join World No. 2 and 17-time Grand Slam Champion Rafael Nadal; World No. 8 and 2018 French Open finalist Dominic Thiem; World No. 14 and 2016 Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic; and eight-time ATP Tour winner Gael Monfils for the event.
The Eisenhower Cup presented by Masimo will begin at 7:00 pm in Stadium 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The event will be played in a Tie Break Tens format, consisting of first to ten-point tie break matches. The players will be divided into two groups for round-robin play, followed by a final match between the two winners of group play, for a total of seven matches during the course of the evening.
