The tennis court is a canvas on which the world’s top players add splashes of athleticism and charisma. In Tennis Paradise on Friday night, Stadium 1 came to life in a brand-new way.

Before the second night match of the evening session between Amanda Anisimova and Anna Blinkova, the court came to life with an electrifying on-court projection featuring imagery of the stars of the sport.

First, the stadium went dark. Then the dramatic music kicked in. The scene was set for a captivating spectacle that came in high-energy waves of color and light, the dark stadium lit by dots of glowing light. Next, the sky lit up with a dazzling fireworks show, sparkling trails of red, white and blue reaching high into the night sky.

A final burst of streamers snaked into the night sky before the lights came back up.

Time for tennis in Tennis Paradise.

And the best news? It will happen again tomorrow, before two-time finalist Daniil Medvedev takes on Alejandro Tabilo in the second match of the Saturday night session.
