For the majority of the tournament (March 6-14), matches in Stadium 1 and Stadium 2 are divided into two sessions: a day session and an evening session.

Day sessions on Stadium 1 and 2 typically begin at 11am and feature a lineup of three matches.

Evening sessions typically begin at 6pm and feature two matches. Fans with only evening session tickets can gain entry to the grounds beginning at 4:30pm.

Yes, our popular Daily Double tickets allow you to enjoy all of the action in Stadium 1 from the same seat for both the day and evening session.

Ticket prices range in cost based on the type of package you wish to purchase and the particular session of the tournament you wish to attend. Reserved seats in Stadium 1 tend to be the most expensive tickets, while a grounds pass is the most affordable option. Grounds passes allow you to enter the Indian Wells Tennis Garden any time after the gates open at 10am and provide access to any match in Stadiums 2-9 during the day. Stadium 1 is the only venue you cannot gain admission to with a grounds pass.

No, you only need a reserved seat for Stadium 1. Stadiums 2 and 3 offer reserved seating options for fans but can also be accessed with a general admission grounds pass.

Yes, your Stadium 1 ticket grants you access to any of the general admission seating areas of all other stadiums.

Box Seats are all seats located in the lower bowl of Stadium 1. Different types of box seats include.

Front Box -- Front Box Seats are located in the first two rows of Stadium 1, as well as the third row on the north end of the stadium.

Premium Courtside Box -- Premium Courtside Box Seats are located in the first 10 rows of Stadium 1 (not including the front two rows in each section). 

Courtside Box -- Courtside Box Seats are located in lower bowl of Stadium 1.

Stadium Box -- Stadium Box Seats are located at the top of the lower bowl of Stadium 1.

Loge seats are located in the upper bowl of Stadium 1. Prime Loge tickets can be purchased and give fans a seat in one of the first six rows of the upper bowl. Regular loge seats are located in the top section of the upper bowl.

Fans need a reserved purchased ticket to sit in the lower bowl of Stadium 2. All upper bowl tickets in Stadium 2 are open to general admission and operate on first come first serve seating.

The first five rows of the west and east side (non-baseline) of Stadium 3 required a reserved seat. All other seats are general admission bleachers.

All tickets to the BNP Paribas Open are digital and managed through the AXS ticket service. Once purchased, fans will receive instructions on how to access their tickets through the BNP Paribas Open mobile app.

Alcohol, outside food, weapons, ipads and laptops, illegal substances, umbrellas, glass, open beverage containers and hard-sided bags/containers are not permitted. Prohibited items that are discovered during bag inspections must either be returned to your vehicle or discarded.

Cameras with detachable or professional lenses are not permitted at the tournament. 

If you wish to re-enter on the same day you must obtain a re-entry wristband that can be found at all Guest Services Kiosks and at the North, South and East gate entrances. Both your ticket and wristband are required to re-enter Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

The 2024 BNP Paribas Open will not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for fans attending the event at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Tournament officials remain in direct consultation with an advisory of health and industry experts to ensure the health and safety of all involved with the event.

Each fan may carry one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12” by x 6” x 12” or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). In addition, guests may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse no larger than 4.5″ by 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap. Smoking is prohibited at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. This includes alternative smoking devices such as electronic and/or vapor cigarettes.

Cameras with detachable or professional lenses are not permitted at the tournament. Videos and photographs may not be reproduced, cannot be exploited or displayed in any manner or in any medium whatsoever without the express written consent of the ATP, WTA or the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Only service animals and service animals in training are allowed on the tournament grounds. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not permitted.

Definitions are as follows:

A service animal is defined as a dog or miniature horse that works, provides assistance, or performs tasks for a person with a disability. Only dogs and miniature horses can be service animals. Service animals must be trained to perform specific tasks for your disability. Service animals that are in training are not considered service animals, however you can bring them into California public places for purposes of training. If the service animal in training causes damage, you can be held legally responsible and required to pay for the damage.

An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) can be any animal that provides comfort or support that alleviates one or more symptoms of a person’s disability. Emotional support animals do not need specific training to provide comfort or support for one’s disability. ESAs do not have the same access to public places that service animals do.  If you have an ESA, you are not legally allowed to bring the animal into businesses and a business can legally deny you access. Misrepresenting an ESA as a trained service animal is a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and/or up to a $1000 fine. (Penal Code Section 365.7(a)).

The BNP Paribas Open has over 35 concession options for tennis fans to choose from, ranging from Michelin star famous restaurants to traditional sporting classics. Three sit-down restaurants in Stadium 2 (Nobu, Fresh Agave, Ristorante Mamma Gina) are available to fans with any daily ticket, and another in Stadium 1 is open to those with main stadium tickets.

A wide selection of alcohol including beer, wine, seltzer, cocktails and more are available for purchase at designated bars and concession stands throughout the grounds.

Matches begin at 11:00am Pacific Standard Time each day, with the gates to the grounds opening at 10:00am.

Evening session ticketholders can gain entry to the facility beginning at 4:30pm and play for night matches typically begins at 6:00pm barring delays. The facility closes one hour after the end of the last match.

Daily match schedules are determined by the tournament referee, WTA Tour and ATP Tour supervisors, broadcasters and the tournament director each late afternoon/evening. Each evening, the schedule and match times are posted on the BNP Paribas Open website and social media channels.

Both men’s and women’s singles draws feature 96 players, while each doubles draw features 32 teams.

The full player field is typically released about a month prior to the start of the tournament in mid-February.

The 32 seeded players (highest ranked players per the WTA Tour or ATP Tour ranking system) are placed on the draw: No. 1 is put on the first line, No. 2 on the last line and then the others in alternating order on pre-determined lines. Once the seeds are in place, the other players are drawn at random and placed on the empty lines starting at the top of the page and going down the draw until it is filled.

The BNP Paribas Open Draw ceremony takes place during qualifying days and is open to the public with the purchase of a $10 general admission ticket. Crowds gather at Stadium Plaza on the opening Monday of the tournament to see where players end up on the draw and get instant analysis/reactions.

Players practices are open to watch for fans with any ticket or grounds pass. Practice courts 1-20 are located on the south side of Stadium 1. For locations of each court, please view our interactive venue map.

Daily practice court schedules are uploaded to the website for each day of the tournament. Those schedules can be viewed every morning by visiting this page.

A schedule of practice times is also displayed on information towers adjacent to the practice courts and can also be found on the mobile app.

The Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is located about a half hour drive from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden and offers major non-stop airline service to over 30 North American airports. Fans looking to book travel can view a full list of destinations serviced by Palm Springs here.

The next closest major international airports are Ontario International Airport (1-1.5 hour drive from the venue) and Los Angeles (LAX) International Airport (2-2.5 hour drive from the venue).

Guests who have purchased a Hotel Package at one of the tournament’s official partner hotels can take advantage of complimentary shuttle service to and from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Your hotel key will be your ticket to ride and must be shown to the shuttle driver prior to boarding. The pick-up and drop-off zone for hotel shuttles is located near the East Gate.
