Player Overview

At the 2023 US Open, Ben Shelton made headlines after advancing to the semifinal, where he fell to eventual champion Novak Djokovic. Overall, 2023 was a breakout year for the young American, as he started the season with a quarterfinal appearance at the Australian Open – the youngest American man to go that far in Melbourne since 1982. Before turning pro in June 2022, the Atlanta native played for the University of Florida, where he captured the 2022 NCAA men’s single title and the 2021 NCAA men’s team title.
