Emil Ruusuvuori is the highest-ranked Finnish singles player currently on Tour and has reached the second round of all four Grand Slams. Ruusuvuori had a breakthrough season in 2022, reaching his first-ever ATP Tour final and earning a personal-best 35 Tour-level wins that season to finish at a year-end-high No. 40. He continued with his success in 2023, advancing to his first ATP Masters 1000 quarterfinals in Miami, which brought him a career-high No. 37 ranking in April 2023.
