France’s Leolia Jeanjean first made noise in 2022, when she reached the third round of her Grand Slam debut at Roland Garros. This run included a victory over World No. 8 Karolina Pliskova, making Jeanjean the lowest ranked player (No. 227) to defeat a Top Ten opponent at Roland Garros since 1988. She reached her maiden WTA Tour final in women’s doubles at the 2023 Transylvania Open, and won a WTA Challenger title in women’s doubles at the 2023 Brasil Tennis Cup.
