Player Overview

A skilled doubles as well as singles player, Max Purcell first broke into the Top 50 during August 2023 after advancing to his first ATP Masters 1000 quarterfinal at Cincinnati. At the Tokyo Olympics, he replaced two-time gold medalist Andy Murray in the main draw and defeated No. 15 Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first round. Alongside fellow Aussie Luke Saville, he reached the 2020 Australian Open doubles final, becoming the first all-Aussie Grand Slam men’s double finalists since 2000 Wimbledon.
