Pablo Carreno Busta’s best finish at Indian Wells came when he reached the semifinals in 2017. He is a two-time Grand Slam semifinalist, reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 10 shortly after his first semifinal 2017 US Open. His most recent ATP title came when he won the 2022 Canadian Open, upsetting Jannik Sinner and Hubert Hurkacz on his way to a first 1000-level title. He also won a bronze medal for Spain in men’s singles at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
