A two-time doubles semifinalist at Indian Wells, Japan’s Shuko Aoyama owns a career high doubles ranking of World No. 4 from February 2022. She has won 20 doubles titles on the WTA Tour, including her most recent at the 2024 Pan Pacific Open and two WTA 1000 titles. Aoyama also reached her maiden Grand Slam final at the 2023 Australian Open.
