Alcaraz won his maiden Indian Wells title at last year's tournament, and embarks on a 2024 campaign where he's seeking the first back-to-back titles in the desert since Novak Djokovic's three-peat from 2014-16.

The 20-year-old Spaniard had his first practice session in the desert this morning with the World No. 17 American Tommy Paul. Alcaraz, the No. 2 seed, will start his 2024 run on Friday in the second round, facing Italy's Matteo Arnaldi.
