
Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova scored an impressive 6-2, 6-2 victory over Olympic gold medalists Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in Stadium 3 on Thursday to reach the women’s doubles final for the first time as a team.
2023 champion Siniakova (with Barbora Krejcikova) and Townsend dominated the 59-minute encounter, saving both break points they faced and converting four of five break points against the Italians.
Townsend and Siniakova will face Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina and Serbia’s Aleksandra Krunic for the title on Saturday. The No. 5-seeded duo topped Cristina Bucsa and Nicole Melichar-Martinez, 6-3, 6-4.

The men’s semifinals are set in Tennis Paradise, as top-seeded Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos qualified for the final four with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Robin Haase and Constantin Frantzen.
Granollers and Zeballos will face unseeded Guido Andreozzi and Manuel Guinard in the semifinals. The Argentine-French duo advanced with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 victory over fourth-seeded Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski.
Valentin Vacherot and Arthur Rinderknech will face Yuki Bhambri and Andre Goransson in an all-unseeded semifinal in the lower half.
